Dr. Shaun Ohira, D.C.

Dr. Shaun Ohira, D.C., is the owner of Hawaii Elite Chiropractic. He is a Pearl City High School graduate and attended BYU in Provo, Utah, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. Dr. Ohira then worked as a personal trainer for two years, where he logged in over 2,000 sessions trained.
While working as a personal trainer, he was preparing to go to medical school, but a serious back injury altered his plans. He was treated by his uncle, a successful chiropractor in Oahu, which led him to go to chiropractic school. He then attended the University of Western States, where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree.

Dr. Phillip Hersh, D.C.
Location: Aiea
Dr. Phillip Hersh, D.C., is a graduate of the University of California Irvine, earning a bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Psychology in 2009. His passion for biology and kinesiology began early in life while attending pitching clinics offered by Dr. Tom House, a professional pitcher for the Atlanta Braves with a Ph.D. in sports psychology from the University of Southern California.
Dr. Hersh was offered a baseball scholarship at Westmont College in Santa Barbara California but due to a lingering wrist injury, chose to attend the University of California Irvine to achieve his educational goals. Following his time at UC Irvine, Dr. Hersh enrolled at Palmer College of Chiropractic in San Jose California, graduating in 2014.
